Not today, but from last week. The colonial site got my attention first.

From Virginia: A few eagle buttons, some glass and ceramic and 1 more Sharps bullet and those poncho grommets we always think are buttons until they are out of the ground.

15 degrees here, I was just cleaning some of my pottery shards and glass pieces, nice finds again. I've been filling up mason jars that I've also dug up with all these shards. I'm thinking us Tnetters are the only people that like this kind of junk, lol

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

There are three eagle buttons in that pic also. Archaeologists like this stuff too.

cool is just cool and anything from our past like that is cool. I always see things as stuff used by someone a long time ago and it was important to them back then. yeah, some things get broken but they still represent a lot. grommets, hate em, they also come from tarps or those banner type signs. keep it up, you still rock!

Cool finds, congrats!!!

What is the green piece on the extreme right? Pottery too?

Nice finds. Congrats

Piece on the right is a piece of glass from a soda bottle, cw period.

Great saves on some pretty cool items, congrats on all

This is one of the places which got pounded long before I dug it. Every time technology changes and people are willing to work hard for tiny things, there is a chance of more to come.

Like most Civil War sites that are left or known . & Not protected.
Nice Finds Glass & pottery shards are cool & just 1 general service US button would make my month.

Excellent finds!! Congrats!!

I am finding these glass shards very interesting finds. I have not dug much, but some, and usually don't keep them.

The CW era soda glass shard is very cool. How do you date that piece and know it was from a soda bottle. Just cool that you know that.

Thanks!!

I will get back to you soon. We broke the jet-twice. Then when we landed we’re met by police paramedics and ambulance someone got sick but I did get to dig and did well. Guy finally walked off the plane. I think I saw all this in a movie last week. Film late tomorrow. Going to try the big silver bird again.

Nice relic finds! :occasion14:

Thanks Pro. I have a new camera, just came in. I'll have to get it charged up and try it out.
