A few days ago we had some hard rain, finding some small run-off streams and old hilly trails where all the water washes out usually pans out pretty well. 1902 barber, 2 indian heads and a 1912 wheatie, also found a decrative dresser pull and an old cowbell in the woods. too bad the bottle with old grandad was broke.
enjoy...

Nice find!!!

Wow. Those are some beautiful finds. I really like the bottle, it is a game that it is broken. Did you find a way to preserve it? Sometimes rain brings a lot of good things. I'm going to go listen to Blue Oyster Cult now.

i also found it odd how deep in the woods the Ronny James Dio pin was, probably lost off a denim vest early 90s lmao. came in like foil, the WWII button is smooshed, but the shank is intact. no markings on the crotal.

I think that is the current old grandad bottle style. It's the only whiskey I can afford so I have seen a few bottles in my day

Nice finds, I once found some AA medallions deep in the forest, weird.. Could not help posting this video I made, More Cowbell

That's a super fancy drawer pull, and not wrecked to boot.

The silver is nice find of course, but larger bells seldom found, cool too.

if it was intact i could probably guess its era, i left it wedged in a tree stump back in the thicket.
