So this hunt I went back to the place where I found the bronze age ring cause I wanted to find more with another detectorist. The owner told us about another place where we could detect where there were more really old house foundations (around 2000 year old). These are the finds from that place:

Three Different Late Medieval Horseshoe Nails:

After digging around 40 bullet casings at that place we decided to go back to the 2000 year old farm. And I'm glad I did. Here are the finds from the field:

An Medieval Iron Knife (1100 A.D - 1500 A.D)

Fragments Of An Barrel Hoop (Unknown Age, Suspected Medieval):

And Besides A Medieval House Foundation We Found A Part Of A Medieval Vessel With A Lot Of Ornaments:

Plus Two More Horseshoe Nails And An Mystery Item:

Nice assortment of finds VlDetecting. Thanks for sharing...

Is that ? piece big enough to hold 2 planks of wood together on a boat?

I don't think so, it weighs 6.96 grams and has a length of about 33 mm.

I also found it in the same hole as the vessel piece under a big stone.

Maybe a wooden box?

How do you mean? That the nail would go trough a small plank of wood on a wooden box?

And another thing, I found this thing that I don't know anything about. I thought it was a button but it has no sign of a shank. It weighs 0.75 g and has a diameter on 13 mm:

Looks like a great location. I hope you dig some gold and silver there!

Yes, that's probably right. Do you know what the other thing is that I posted?
Yes the top of an 18th C Button, the back plate is missing.
