Just catching up with some more good finds from the beach. Gold is elusive as always but managed to score one gold band last night. As you can see from most of the hunts, did quite a bit of deep cleaning on the beach! Always hauling out ALOT of trash!

One item I am looking for an ID on I have not found any examples of online. It is a tie bar (clip) that has an fouled anchor with laurel leaves, topped by a 5 pointed crown. Not sure how old but guessing pre WWII? Don't believe modern type neck ties were even in fashion or a uniform item until the late 1880's early 1900's so its not too old for sure! Found it in an area we have pulled British and French navy buttons and relics from the 1700 and 1800's as well as more modern military buttons and merchant marine ones. Hoping someone will recognize it.
Good luck to everyone and thanks for looking!
