More gold!! This one is weird!

Scored another gold ring today. This one is odd. It looks like a deeper color than 14k, but it doesn't have a karat stamp. Instead, it has a serial number. Some of the numbers are wore off but I can tell there's a 3 and a 9 when I look with a loupe. Any ideas?

No idea but gold is beautiful congratulations

you might have a 9K-10K ring. I'm pretty sure .417 is equivalent to 10K.

Chris,

Good going on the pink gold probably has some age to it. The is caused because the alloy mixed with the gold has a high concentration of copper.

I've only found 1 pink gold ring over the years so not all that common.

Regards + HH

Bill

I thought maybe the SS was stainless steel with gold plate, but it's non magnetic. I guess we will find out tomorrow morning when I get it tested

It looks like it may say 18K after the SSO.... Can't be sure, but an acid test would tell all. Congrats on the gold regardless!!

Very nice ring indeed. Great find

Nice ring, can't go wrong with Gold!!:icon_thumleft:

Well, it tested 10k. 3.2g. The ring I found yesterday was 4.71g of 14k.

Nice find! Gold is good! :occasion14:
