I have been digging through old finds stuff...
some of them date back 35+ years of finds...
All items in my opinion are either very rare of have eluded research...
Some of these items I have an "idea" about
others I have no clue whatsoever...
Lets see who can solve some of the mysteries I have held onto over the years...
Most of these items I will be posting are PRE internet days... (pre google anyway)

ITEM #4 ...

This one has a small story with it...
this one was recovered from down in an old rotten wood crack INSIDE of a early 1700's "monies chest"...
it was in the front right corner ... down in the crack...
I had to pry it out.
It would have never been spotted and obviously had not been until I actually put my head in to inspect it thouroughly.

This is made of coin silver... stone unknown...
I have tested it for a yellow diamond ( I wish) with my standard diamond tester... where results are just below diamond.

I know that this piece could be totally unrelated to the chest...
Someone at some point could have used this a s a display piece filled with "fake treasure"...
I have seen these displays so many times I cant count...
not so much these days... but in the 80's they were everywhere.

ANY help with an origin AND value would be great. (btw chest was of unknown origin)
Sold the chest long ago when down sizing ... AND because I had 2 :)... still have smaller one that I acquired later...
that I found in the back of an antique mall area that the owner was "restoring"...
I told him to stop immediately in mid restoration... I PAYED HIM to stop after some negotiation... it was mine.
He wanted me to wait saying he enjoyed redoing stuff..
I was thinking to myself... you mean you like destroying things. heh.
