I went to a doctors appointment and afterwards went right across the street to a park, a couple hours before dark. It's been raining hard, and theres been some erosion. The earring with garnets is 18k & weighs.72dwt; the
friendship earring with the broken bail is 14k and weighs .30dwt; and the tiny silver ring is .77dwt.
Total melt value as of today: $47.74.
The broken earring was lying on top of the eroded sand which was cool, gold just lying on the ground. The one with garnets signaled with just a whisper, I was lucky to get that one.
These little earrings aren't a big thrill, but they're fun, like catching panfish. Total melt value as of today: $47.74.
