More marbles that I dug.

Again, I found a few marbles, and trying to id them kind of makes me lose a few marbles. They were found in the ghosttown of Kent, Texas. Cool place. If anyone has info. It is greatly appreciated.

The green one and orange one that look like an eyeball, those are vitro phantom conquerors from around the 1940s. The clear and solid ones are not really IDable. The green and white swirly ones are West Virginia swirls. The solid white one might be an akro moonie, not sure.

No problem! Check out Joemarbles.com Home Page and you can start to see patterns and traits associated with different marble companies. It takes a lot of time and hands-on, but most marbles can be attributed to their makers.

Hey Cheese- that website is awesome! I can't see myself- or many people going to the lengths he does to get good pics of his specimens, but the results are amazing. And it's true. The more you looks at examples or manufacture, the more you can id in your own collection. Takes time and more time...and patience! Yak
