My camera took a dump a month ago, been dying to show all of you my coolest find ever!!! So this past Memorial Day I hit a new permission in the old part of Ft. Myers, property that used to be owned by Thomas Edison and his winter estate. The house was built in the 1930's. I did find a few wheats, 3 silvers, a Wash, Rosie and a Merc.. Just as I was going to call it a day, I beeped under a tree adjacent to the neighbors house, and got a sweet hit, max depth, solid bing-bing on the ACE 350... and then this little honey spread her wings.

A bit of research reveals this to be WW2 Bombadier Wings.
3 inches long, with intact pin on the reverse. Marked on the back "Gemsco Sterling" No other distinguishing marks...
How cool is that !!!
