Had a great low-mid tone yesterday after digging up another small tin so I figured it might be another. Started the digging and found a root right off, cleared the area under it and pinpointing continued to indicate it was directly under the root. Continued digging and could not locate a target in the hole. Finally changed my position and noticed the source of the signal was sticking out of the root on the bottom opposite from from my viewpoint. Pulltab stuck in the bottom of the root.

Wow. . . :D

Was that your new machine's idea of a joke or your old one
pitching a jealous fit and trying to get even :tongue3:

I've come across a few pulltabs with roots growing right through the holes, but never a pulltab embedded into a root like that! What a damn shame you had to waste all that time thinking you were excavating an old nickel.

Nice try anyway!

Joe

Wow! How frustrating. What did you do to tick off the dirt gods!
