more shell fragments

despite the cold drizzle on Sunday , I decided to go relic hunting at the field where I've been finding shell fragments. Found 3 more frags and 3 musketballs/case shot. Hunted there for the last few weekends (see topic "SHELL SHOCKED" for previous posts). The rain got harder and turned to sleet so i gave up after about an hour and a half. So far , I've found 35 shell fragments, 10 lead balls and 1 boreman fuse there....1 wheatie and an 1860 IH penny. I cant wait til this weekend ,,,should be in the 70's here.

yes , the frags are a mixture of parrot and round shot...some of the pieces fit together ...maybe i can find enough to re-assemble a shell
