Hey folks,
Did some more sidewalk stripping around my neighborhood.
First house was a recently sold home. I knocked and peered inside and it was totally empty so off I went. (By the way, sidewalk strips are public land in Seattle but I still prefer to ask permission because people find it more respectful.) I found one Wheat there but that was it.
On my way back to my car I ran into a chatty old lady who invited me to try her yard. Unfortunately it was a bust but I thought that was so cool that she offered out of the blue!
Last place I hit was the sidewalk strips outside a 1950s house where I talked to the owner a couple days ago. He gave me the green light so I went back today. Partway through I was getting a wispy signal hitting at 88-92 which is usually just a pipe or something but I figured I better check it out just in case. Turns out it was a silver Rosie mostly on edge! Glad I checked it out.
I managed one more wheat from those strips and called it a day.
Didn't I mention that I felt like a silver Rosie was in my near future Carolina Tom?
The Rosie is a 61. Wheats are 45 and illegible.

My brother and I are going out tomorrow. Hopefully more to report then.
Happy hunting and thanks for the encouragement!
