Spent St. Paddy's day afternoon hunting my favorite area again. Back in the little area between a stream and the road. This area was near the one-time entrance to the park. I found quite a few Wheat Pennies, a Buffalo Nickel, another War Nickel, A 1910 Barber Dime and a 1945 Mercury Dime.

The Dimes:

War Nickel:wwplusford 011.webpwwplusford 012.webp

Buffalo: wwplusford 009.webpwwplusford 010.webp

Not the prettiest stuff I've ever found, but I'll take 'em.

What an awesome place you have to find the oldies, Bob! ::)

I'm sure that spot will continue to produce for you til you can't swing a machine anymore.

I really enjoy hunting the woodsy areas whenever I have the chance to, although that environment is very scarce in my locale.

Congrats,

Thanks, folks.

jarhead - Thanks for the compliment, but check your map. Delaware County is in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
