more silver from the woods

been hunting in the woods around 3 lakes 1929 WLH 1916 Mercury Dime a few shot gun shells and a bullet and 1 tab not a bad day. still trying to understand why i don't find wheat Penny's have only got one the ace 250 just not picking them up??

Sometimes I dig nothing but wheat's. I'll trade metal detecting luck with ya anyday. Is the 1916 Merc a 1916 D that's a key date ya know ? Nice woods finds, good hunting !!

Sometimes your wheats show up on the black dot right before the 1cent mark..It makes a different tone..ALSO sometimes wheats will show up as a dime. Just depends..This is in my soil in Mississippi..Might be different in yours. Nice finds by the way.

im in SC and its more like clay but the spot i have been hiting is like a 5 foot ring around some lakes its not like soil but very thin roots everything i have been pulling out is in very good shape if it comes out of the clay its not.. thanks for the info
