Yesterday I sent most of the day cleaning coins from the last few hunts, trimming the hedges and cleaning out the garage. To my surprise I found a 1943 War Nickel after cleaning some coins. It was pretty dirty, so I didn't notice it was a War Nickel when I found it. Was it found on the day that I thought I didn't find a silver coin? I'm not sure, but there's a good chance it was.

Any how, today I hit two sites. The first site the house was built in the early fifties and second site the house was built in the late twenties. The oldest coins came from the first site. The older site produced 3 Roses. Go figure!

Also I found 9 wheat pennies, some clad coins and a 5 dollar bill laying on the ground

This was my 60th hunt for the year and my silver coin total for the year now stands at 178.

Congrats again tabman, :occasion14: I can see you're giving the CZ3D a break or at least maybe your right arm. :dontknow:

Thanks! The CZ3D is a super coin hound, but it's a little too much for my bad shoulder that never did get back to normal after I broke my arm. That's too bad because it's less stressful to use, because it runs so super quiet and handles EMI extremely well. I may belt mount it and see how that goes. There's a place and need in my detector arsenal for it if I can figure out something to manage the extra weight. If not, it's gone.

Nicely done tabman. Sorry to hear about the arm problem. I see that you are a Tesoro man. I used Garrett machines for over 20 years. Then it was time to try other manufacturers. Maybe it is time to consider a DEUS. Just a suggestion.
Congrats on a sweet hunt.

Congrats on the silver
Thanks! I really enjoyed myself.

Congrats on a sweet hunt.

Thanks! I like trying different detectors. I'm about ready to start back swinging my Tesoro detectors. Nothing gets by them and they're super fun to use.

Im jealous! My silver count is no where near yours. But I do love the "Shiny". Congrats on your ongoing silver roundup. You're killing the competition and making some of us drool. Constantly.

Great silver haul! That CZ3D is on the heavy side, I had a CZ5 and CZ6 for almost 15 years and never thought about the weight, but I got older just like everyone else :icon_scratch:

Congratz! Keep it up! I can't wait to see your end of year total!

You've left me in the dirt (pun intended) with your silver count! Congrats!

Thanks! Like I've said before, it's all about location. Finding those good locations comes with experience.

Thanks! Yeah, it's a little heavy, but it works great. I can hip or chest mount it if need be.

Thanks! I'm telling you, when the heat hits I'll be slowing down a lot.

Thanks! I've been averaging around 3 silver coins per hunt. I'm about dug out and need a change to keep things interesting.
