On target to finish this field by tomorrow. Then next week abit of fishing (gives my back a chance to recover).

A little disappointed today as we expected at least one scrappy roman coin. We have moved out of the most productive area.

What was nice was a small 18th century clog clasp with a bird on it. A new type for the collection.
A stunning condition 1884 (H) farthing.
Part of a medieval purse bar with a latin moto.
Plus bits,,,,,,

This field has been done for over 25 years by many different people. We have just got the left overs.

That is a great bunch of finds, awesome variant! I like that lead plumb bob, it may have been used to angle a cannon or build a house. Are those lead tokens or lead seals? Great finds and HH, Mike

Good question - I have no idea. Its a 1 piece type with no back mark. Its the first one I have found & I have 1000s of buttons.
