What makes you question it?
From looking at just the back, the script looks right, the color looks right, the wear pattern looks right. The only thing that strikes me is that tiny ridge on the very outside edge of the rim. If this got tumbled in a dryer or other rotating drum it can cause a spreading that could look like that.
Have you measured and weighed it?

I used to collect counterfeit coins and still have a few left. Sorry but the patina looks like some of the fakes I had. Also the rolled edge is suspect. Please let us know the outcome after you get the dimensions and weight. Can we see an obverse pic too?
