My friend and I headed back to a large lake on the Idaho/Utah border on Wednesday. The weather was bad, with wind from the West blowing snow in my face, froze my hands but that's how it goes. First ring I found was the LDS ring, 14K with ice...unfortunately not diamonds, but good gold and just 3 grams. Second ring was a small sterling band. Finally the clouds cleared out and the wind died down, and it turned into a really nice day. Third and fourth rings I found within 5 minutes of each other, but just junk tungsten carbide. The last ring is absolute junk but was a deep signal, brass and pot metal I guess. I found a bunch of coins, a massive amount of old pull tabs, and the other usual junk. My friend found 2 aluminum children's rings. My dog had a blast running wild, so overall it was a good trip. HH
