Great looking silver Mike! By the wear on the Merc, my guess is it was dropped around the same time as the others.

So was this plan A or B ?

Plan 'Batts
It was unfortunately my mistake to go around an old building and be followed by Mike and Skinny Puppy. I popped out the '35 merc a foot away from the wheatie at less than 2". I think those guys would have moved on had I not said anything. Mike, Pat and Bob all scored silver within about 20 feet of that spot! Well Bob may have been 25 feet away but he's always a little off....

We had some good digs there today! Good seeing you Mike, Pup -n- Bob!

Check out the rim on the dime I dug, maybe a bit of offset on the die?!? Still can't read the date on that wheatie.

nice dimes,Looking at the 1952, Is the nose shorter, & lips slightly different? From the picture it looks like it could be from a different die, camera angle? odd strike? or just old eyes? I guess it stands to reason they might vary mint to mint don't remember reading about it and have never noticed it before..don
