Morning Hunt Finds

Had a couple of hours this morning so I figured I'd go back to the site where I found that last coin. It's about a mile through from the house as the crow flies as I'm not exactly sure. I could drive to it but would rather not have my truck parked on the side of road/next to the woods while hiking in, so I just made my way back to it.

Historical writings/maps pointed to an old tavern in the area - my Dad and I had hunted it 20 or so years prior and found a lot of stuff - buttons to coins to all sorts of stuff. Then life took me off in the form of the Navy and I returned back home back in 2015 and brough the house I now live in a few years ago. It's a bit of a trek through the woods as have to skirt a small neighborhood and a few houses, but its still there. Kind of thick area now. Still finding stuff, but its been hunted heavily over the years.
