Spent about 3 hrs swinging in a now defunct soccer fields. They are still used for practice sessions but no games. I'm a 'newb' and started MDing about 5 wks ago. Since then I've exhumed slightly more than $10.00 (~$23 total) and my only silver coins from this site. Pulled $2.18 out of there today (4 quarters in one hole) plus the usual oddities and much expected trash. Among the Lincoln's, two were Wheaties ('44 blank and '48 S), six other coppers and the rest = zincolns. Proof pics attached. (Click on image to enlarge) ** See if you can spot the silver ** (It was no mystery when it 'rose from the dead' and ready to rejoin society.)
I think one of the 'what's it' items was part of a safety razor. The chrome item (plastic) is threaded (male) on its reverse. Looks famaliar but can't guess what it came off of
Part of a hydrant, pc of copper tubing and a tent pole (?) stake round out today's treasure.
Oh...it's getting hot out there - wear some ST lotion and HH.
Thanks for looking.
