Hi,

A morning hunt near the University of Oregon led today to a corroded 1941 wheat cent, a very nice 1918-S wheatie, and this great 1954-D silver quarter, only my third silver quarter this year!
Thanks for looking!

WTG Mike
That silverquarter looks fine.... and the wheats are fun to find as well. Gold Nuggets :icon_jokercolor:

Nice finds there Mike

That quarter looks like it went underground the day after it left the mint!

GOOD JOB MIKE!!! You're becoming quite the silver magnet ~ finding silver on a regular basis! CONGRAT'S!!! That's a very nice looking quarter! WOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Nice finds.

My first silver quarter was a 1954 too, I haven't cleaned it at all, not even with water. My second and only other one is a 1943, it's much dirtier but I decided not to clean that either.
I'd love to find more silver quarters , they are so substantial. You got to love them.
Congrats, and luck on many more.

HH.

very nice finds been a while since my last silver Quarter I need A fix congrats HH RonC

Thanks to everyone for taking a look. This is the first time I've ever taken a photo and managed to get it posted here without having to ask anyone for help. I consider that fact a major victory!

Now, about the second hunt on this property. See my post in the "Metal Detecting" forum to read my plea for advice!

Thanks again,

Mike

Very Very nice quarter. Of all the coins and stuff I've found, both old and new I have yet to find a silver quarter. Seems funny that I can find an 1865 Indian Head Penny and Mercury dimes but can't even scare up a 1964 Washington...now 1965 Washington's, that's a different story ...got lots of those///LOL
