Morning Merc

I found a few things at a nearby old house this morning. A lady who lives across the street came over and we chatted a little. She's going to loan me a few books that detail the history of our town.

Apparently, the town was built on what was in the early 1800's, two huge plantations. Before the town was incorporated, there was a lot going on. Including Indians running wild and slaves doing slave things. Who knows maybe they will help me locate some good spots!
