I have an 1286 Morrocan treasure coin. How do I authentic it. What is it's value. thanks.

first off -- the arabic date 1286 AH * is due to a differant "muslim" calander that normal "english /american/christian" dates -- its english date would be 1869 .

the ruler would be Mohammad the IV --(1859 - 1873) if the coin is bronze its likely to be a 1, 2 or 3 falus rough size is-- 1 is 20mm , 2 is 22 mm and 3 is 28 mm -- the AH date of 1286 is equal to 1869 in the english calander. --the 1 and 2 are a bit rarer than the 3 -- value if heavy worn is about $3 --if in better shape about $10 and if in very good shape about $20 . --not a huge money coin but sort of cool still.

Pennyfool,
Welcome to Treasure Net !!
The formula Ivan probably used is: Islamic date (1286) times 0.97 then add 622 gives you Gregorian (our) date, 1869. To get it professionally graded would cost you more than it's value, though your local coin shop might give you a free evaluation in anticipation of your business.
