In the past few days I have seem Mosquitoes mentioned Twice in threads.
One was in Fl, (to be expected I guess).
The other in the Banner "Spanish Gold!!" post , from the Charleston SC area 'I assume'
'I can see that'.

I was out yesterday Here N of Atlanta & was Bit & Buzzed by A dozen or so, ( that's really not many I know Usually have a couple dozen around each Leg.)

It was around 75 o yesterday & has been pretty warm for the last week, Jack Frost has visited a few times this Fall & Winter (last time was on the 20th of Dec), So these little Buggers must have had a warm place to hide or jumped the gun & hatched early this year.

Oh well just some thoughts as the ones out now "Should " soon freeze to Death.
I just found it strange battling mosquitoes this time of year. During my "Deet" free time.:laughing7:

Just looked at the Radar ..............MORE RAIN!
MAN , That El,nino.

It's crazy. 75 degrees here yesterday, 39 right now and back in the 60s trm. Rainy, wet and muddy but when it does come, it will be hard to handle.

No squeetters here in California they spray for them in any standing water like rice fields after 4 hrs of flooding, then they do malathion airplane sprays in the spring and summer. Nothing to worry about a little chemicals shouldnt hurt you or the bees or the birds that eat the bugs they killed off no problem.

We've had a warm December no skeeter's just TICKS! :BangHead:

Oh yeah mosquitos the other day and green flies at the farm. Supposed to get cold. I am heading to the cabin.

Here at about 10,000 feet there's so few mosquitoes that we can actually name them. 'Hey, there goes ol Betty!' (Swat).

We still have mosquitoes in Orlando...

I had to fire the Mosquito Magnet back up 3 days ago with the constant deluge of rain and muggy conditions in southern GA. The mosquitos are worse now than they were in July!

We had ticks in May-August then it started up again in Sept.-Dec15th. In July we had a bad out break of deer flies, poor dog would have a dozen blood suckers latched on just going out for a whizz. I nailed one on my neck after it was having lunch on me. Mosquitos were around most of the year right up till a few weeks ago we still had them in the house. Need a good long winter to take out some these flying & crawling blood suckers.

As well as this coast...
Hate em...
Bloodd sucking bass terds...

So... I think I own at least 4 working... and a couple of non working... (for parts) Harbor Freight tennis racket "zappers"...
The guy who invented those should get the Nobel Prize.

Speaking of those racket zappers. My dumb azz step-son had one of his buddies talk him into sticking his tongue on one while the buddy pressed the button. didn't do it twice! LOL!:tongue3::tongue3:

I swear, here in northern New England the saplings were budding when I went out the day after Christmas.

Must be Canadian mosqs. :headbang:
