My boyfriend and I spent a few hours metal detecting today, in a yard at an old abandoned building. He got me a new shovel... he's such a sweetie 
The coolest thing I found was a token from a restaurant called The Ground Round, also found a couple pennies and a copper nail that was pretty cool. The big silver thing got me all excited til I cleaned it off and realized it's just a piece of junction box. I figured out that with gloves on, I think I pushed the button and changed modes and was in beach mode for a while and nothing was beeping. Right now I think I'm just enjoying finding *whatever*, and not having to give up on something just because I can't find it after too much digging lol.
