Grew up sailing around Mulberry Island. I remember signs all around the perimeter that said "danger- live fire- impact area" with little pictures of people getting blown through the air. Doesn't Fort Eustis still run the place? I know there are some amazing Colonial sites on the island along with incredible CW fortifications. Would love to explore that place...
