A little late for beach hunting here in MI but the temps cracked over 50 today, very nice.
Hit a section of a beach that I only detected once before earlier in the summer, apparently no one else has either. All finds with Ace 400 and were either wet sand or very shallow, didn't feel like going in over my ankles today.

Wound up with 2 gold, 1 silver [the peace sign ring, very tarnished], a couple stainless, some junk and change.

Nice finds!!!

That's an awesome hunt right there! Big gratz on the beautiful gold!!

What side of the state are you on. I am in west michigan

East side, where all the rings are !

Metro Detroit area generally.

A 7 ring day is not average for me, and gold has been a bit scarce for me this year. Just goes to show that sometimes it pays to keep trying. This beach has been hit, I know that for a fact. These were most likely late season drops on some of those hot Sept days.

Always love seeing those rings! Congrats

Nice way to close out the season, don't think I'll be doing any more beach hopping until spring 2017.

Bet you'll feel like getting wet next time? You still did very well! :occasion14: :occasion14:

great hunt... Congrats!

your avatar makes me itch :laughing7:

Great Hunt !!!! Congrats on the nice finds !!!

Great score on the rings!
And thx for mentioning that you are swinging the new 400....
Read the reviews, looks pretty solid....
I loved my 350....this is like a big brother to that machine....am I right that you don't want to get the coil wet too?....
