Hi Everyone, <br>This is my first post here, and you will forgive me for not actually posting something I dug up, but did sorta "find". If you are near Thomson Georgia 30824, the local museum has a fantastic display of Civil War relics. Many are dug some are not. There are buckles, guns, knives, bullets, belts and other cool things. The display is temporarily on loan there and is well worth seeing. The museum is free to the public and open week days. I was there today at lunch and the folks there tell me that they wish more folks would come by and see the exhibit.

Wow. I'll have to check that out sometimes. Thanks for letting us know about it.
 
It's amazing what's in some little known local museums.
