🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Mushroom ID?

I found a huge clump of mushrooms growing on a log the other day and wondered if anyone recognizes what kind they are. The log they're growing on is oak that's been laying there for two or three years, if that matters.

to me it looks like Pleurotus ostreatus, but that's a guess without seeing in person.
