Musket Beach

Had a couple hours to detect this morning. I tried some fields as the snow is all but gone but the ground is still frozen. Decided to head over to Musket Beach to kill some time. I've said it before, I'm always happy digging lead! The big one is what I think may be from a mortar ball...it's far bigger than any musket ball I've dug.

the brown bess used up to a .83 musketball. most I think were .75 or .69

Nope...beaches are tidal. Huntable for half a day!
