Found at a mid 19th century plantation site see previous post... http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/g...-way-introduce-myself-than-my-first-find.html

Appears to be a 20 bore, it was found 1 foot underground; only barrel and nipples remain.

So what's this plantation paperweight worth?

Any thoughts??

Where are the nipples in the pics?

There is no value here. The gun is just too degraded. If it had any sort of history it could be associated with, you might be have been able to find a buyer for it and maybe gotten something out of it. But a rusted away shotgun remnant from a farmer's field is never going to find a buyer.
