mxt detech coil settings

should i start was something other than the factory settings.do i need to know anything else.its a detech 13in ultimate dd coil.

I try and run +2 gain as long as EMI permits, if your in a bad EMI area you might not be able to run that high but you'll get better depth if you can. Just make sure you don't have to much threshold noise so you can hear those real deep whisper targets. HH
