This is my first post to this forum.

I found my first Barber Dime at a school practice field today. It was my 6th silver dime at this location, which also included a 1929 Mercury Dime.

The Barber is in fantastic condition. Can still read "Liberty" on the head.

Only been detecting for about 4 months now and love it!!

Congrads..nice find!! Newbie to site also. My next purchase?? Atpro

I'm still getting to know the machine. You will love it if you give it some practice.

Nice Barber! Congratulations!

Very nice find. Those silvers hold up well most of the time. Hope you find more.

Congratulations!

If you don't already have it, get the 5" x 8" coil. It's an entirely different machine with it. Especially in trashy areas.

Nice find. That Barber is in sweet shape. I have only one... and it is really thin from years of service. Congrats.

I've been fairly lucky finding silver dimes but silver quarters are a different story. I've only found two of those.

Nice silver. My first silver was a barber dime. Silver quarters are gonna be on property that hasn't been hunted much because those were sucked up years ago on the heavily detected spots. They sound great on a detector.
