Awesome find and hopefully many more.Congrats :icon_thumright:

Nice. At least you knew it was a ring. First one I got was a 14k white gold and for the love of me I couldn't figure it was a ring for quite a few minutes.

Rang up as a 50 so I knew it had potential to be gold. I couldnt believe it when i popped the plug. I usually get frustarted with low tones and start skipping them. Anyone else do that?

I dig most everything. I've always had my machines with minimal iron discrimination, so I'm pretty sure I haven't missed any. Lowest reading on the Deus for gold was a 42. Was a nice ladies' ring with a garnet about 8" down.

Do you block out certain VDI’s or just dig anything above 40’s?

Nice find. Unfortunately to find those gold rings, you'll need to dig those mid tones. Depending on the karat of the gold, a lot of them ring up in the pull tab range. I have found several rings by digging what I thought was another pull tab. Just the nature of this great hobby. :happy3:

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! It must of been one hell of a day for you. Again congrats on never giving up.
