My 1st piece of jewelry!!

Ive been finding a lot of soda cans and pull tabs. So I found a new spot that is penny heave! I spend about an hour a day there and dig up at least 20 pennies a day. Today I dug up this gem, a necklace charm. At least that is what I believe it to be. Date on it is 1968.

Yeah, that's probably about a 3 hour drive from where I'm at, although not too far from where I used to live in Tallapoosa county. (Alex City)..

That's a special piece as 1968 meant something to someone! I was only seven years old at the time, but the music at the time was great and it was one year after the summer of 1967 which I believe was called "The Summer of Love"--perhaps a hint as to how and why it was lost!
