I was just planning on a nice, clad walk today. Pretty much that's what it turned out to be. I started out
hitting a couple tot-lots and then went off for my clad walk. Didn't do to terrible:

Fishy's happy with his new toy.

Blingie seems interested in the medals.

When I first got these I thought neat, modern penny medals. The I realized, '96 wasn't yesterday! :tongue3:

A first for me. My first holed zincoln! ;)

And....the new trick? You guys tell me, especially if you use an ATP, if the VDI read as 04. That's right
zero four!! Would you dig it? :icon_scratch:

Well, if you don't, you might be missing these!

AND, by the way, it was a SOLID 04! They are completely magnetic too! LOL

Thanks for peeking!

Even more than that, I tried an air test when I got home. Same thing! 04! LOL

Yep. I would have ignored that as well. Thanks for the tip

Very nice hunt! Digging the low numbers can sometimes yield very surprising finds.

But most importantly, what was the tone?

Ok, I think I will STILL be passing them up lol.

I would be too. This happened to be in a tot lot and I was doing my duty, cleaning out the iron nails and sharp stuffs.
Then, this! LOL

I see a TON of iron in your future lol jk!!

I dig a ton of iron now. South Scranton should be loaded with those coins. Let's go give it a try. Lol

What is a mexican dollar worth anyway? 2 cents? ;)

Glad you said that. I was just thinking : how many would you have to dig to get a buck's worth anyway?

Lmao. Nothing but quality metals in today's coins. I think Ciggerette butts ring up as a 06?? I'm notched out 0-40 unless I'm in a special place. Thanks for sharing. Lol

Ain't no party like a Scranton party, cause a Scranton party don't quit.

Knock out the center of that Mexican coin and a few whacks on a ring mandrel instant ring.

Looks like a productive walk. An 04 is certainly strange. BTW..... you are a brave soul throwing ATP in the title!! The mob will be coming after you soon. Nice digs

More close to a dime, 14 and you get a us buck, try to wiggle your coil over it and see if you get a high tone in the mix, i use a x-terra 705 and got those bimetalic 1, 2 and 5 peso coins dialed in, even can tell denomination before i dig. Its all in the way you wiggle the detector kinda like the sound you get from a very corroded bottlecap next to a rusty nail.

That's nice, but, whatever for!?! ;) LOL
