Several pieces of advice I can give. When a hit produces coins finish detecting that day. My detector rang up other silver hits, it was getting dark thus, I planned on coming back the next day. A passer-by saw me and returned need I say more.

I remember reading that it's a good Idea to detect around old clotheslines, don't know if that is common knowledge or not.

What type of area did you find the spill in? Middle of the woods? Sidewalk strip? I'm trying to find my first silver coin. I'm praying for even a 1964 dime I'm so desperate for a silver coin.

I found my coin spill in a park near Poconos Pa. You will find silver it just takes longer, it took me awhile too. Go to old elementary school's playgrounds and detect. pls let me know when you bucket list! Thanks
