Just bring back a gold ring from the beach, then, walk in and give it to your wife. But, tell her you just dug it up in the back yard. She'll allow "limited" hunting after that, I GAR-RONE-TEE!! LOL

Lucky - I do always fill any holes I've dug.
Now for the rest of you - I was surprised that I got so many hits in the back yard. They seem to be in the 6-8" range. So at some point, I will be mining the back yard for buried loot. In the meantime, I am very excited to hit the beach given this model has a beach mode that helps to discriminate the dreaded black snad that seems to plague other types of detectors. This is my entry into the world of treasure and antiquity hunting.
