My best Find ,Whats yours?????

Here it is ,,appraised at $300. Although a 1800 IH penny, that is not worth much, is close to what I think is my best find. Money value is not the most important thing.

I meant an 1882 IH penny,Not 1800.

At least I think that is what it is.The 3rd digit has a pit in it.It is either a 6 a 8 or a 9 because I can see the upper left loop of the number.

being from england the poosibilities of good finds are endless. I found a medieval weight on my first field.

Value isn't necessarily tangible-- Beauty has a lot to do with it, but so does the difficulty of finding something. The effort you put into it is worth far more than most recovered targets.

Since you asked, my best find ever (to this point, anyway) is a Rolex, in nice working condition! Yes, it happens to be worth the most $, too! But then, I never yet found an Indian Head penny!

In my very limited detecting experience, my best find would probably be a ring made from a 1964 Kennedy Half. Sadly, it only fits my pinkie finger, so I will not wear it. And my wife already has a ring which looks very similar to it...so it sits on my desk...
