I hit a very historical area last night which gave me my best relic day. I need a little help on the badge looking thing though. I'm hoping it's military but can't find a thing. I think I id'd the main button as a royal artillery 1795 through War 1812. If anybody can id the cuffbutton backmark let me know-not much to go on. I also found other flat buttons and what I think is the fore end cap (not sure if thats right name) to a kentucky pa long rifle (or similar rifle with octagon barrel). Lots of lead also. Maybe I will post the rifle part in What is it. Thanks in advance for any help.

saddle shield or horse tack related item, it attached to leather

Your button is a military artillery button. You can see the three cannon on it. :icon_sunny:
