Hello, i was vacationing up north in the Michigan in a hotel on a rocky, muddy, stinky beach. I thought there might be some interesting things and i got up early and found part of a 1940's appliance and some old copper roofing. The next day, i knew i had a good spot when i found my first ever silver quarter! I also got some old trinkets, an old tray, and some lead plating. The next day i found some more sea junk as well as an old fishing weight with original cotton line. The day after, i found some more junk as well as a very unusual bullet, a wheat, and two old fishing weights. The next day was the real kicker. I found part of an old crosscut saw, several shipwreck spikes, and an old oar well. But that wasn't all. I found my first 2 musket balls, more sea junk. But the greatest finds were an 1857 large cent and an 1888 seated dime (which made the gold charm i found look insignificant). the last day i found another musket ball and another fishing weight. This was one 50 ft of shoreline on miles. This town has enough treasures to last a lifetime.
