My Best Spanish Cobb, Please help date

I found the two pieces of this cobb 50 yrds and 2 years apart! The date is illegible, but I understand some can date these by the cross tip shape? Also this coin appears to be "broken" rather than cut? Any thoughts? I'm still looking for the third missing piece!

fox, just a guess! It's not too clear! 8 Reale from Potosi, Bolivia. If that's an M in the Top Right, Maybe 1728-40. All Guesswork! Find the other Piece!!!

sure looks like a fresh break...even for the 3rd piece.
my guess laying very close by...maybe laying on edge, harder to pick up.
