my bottles pt 1, soda pop

I decided some of the bottle collection should be displayed so I started bringing things down from the attic to clean up and put out for us to enjoy. Here's the first batch, the soda's. I chose the ones I find the most appealing either because of the graphics or the actual glass work of the bottle. The crushes are one of my favorite.

The Ambers are my particular favorite.











I had to take the pictures outside on my old truck so they're not the best quality. Unfortunately the last ones are hard to read, but the bottles are (l to R) 1932 St. Paul Bottling Company, 1936 The Big Bottle, A Longing Drink Minneapolis, White Wing brand, Minneapolis, 1930's Big Chief, Arizona, 1930's Big Sun, Arizona, Squeeze, Bisbee Arizona, Polar Beverages, Big Tom, Holdenville and Wewoka (if anyone has any information on this bottle i'd love to have it, I can even try and get better pictures, and Yucca Brand, Roswell New Mexico

those were the days....every gas station had a bottle machine and the bottles were re-filled again and again.

Wow! That some nice collection. The Crush orange are my favorites by far. We had Kist also here, cool. There's one brand that would sound hum, "odd" if made now... I let you find it by yourself (Sorry, could'nt kept my keyboard shut).
