My Box Today.....

Produced 44 keepers. About the last 4 boxes I went through have been good. They have all been dated 11-7-06. I sure would like to know where these boxes physically came from. I think Baton Rouge but just guessing. Instead of my usual one box order from a few different banks I have now made it two boxes from each. Hopefully I can get more of the same date.

That's a another impressive box W/4.4% keepers. Have you ever come across any other CRH's while hunting? What would you guesstimate your AVG silver % per box? and last question if you don't mind is, have you ever noticed that some banks you order from produce more keepers than others? Thanks for posting all of your finds this year, they have been a real inspiration when the going gets tough.

Thanks Patpall. I can't say I have ever come across another CHR since I have started although every so often I find some evidence of one. I see initials on rolls every once in a while. I went to one bank and they had 72 rolls so I got excited but when he brought them from the vault every one had been searched (all marked). I asked him about it and he said a guy brought them in a long time ago. I still took them because I didn't think it was right to tell him I didn't want them after bringing them from the vault. I think he was glad to get rid of them...lol.

The estimate you ask about.....when I first started CRH, my first boxes were not good...5-10 maybe. Lately they have been way better....don't know why. I guess an average for all the boxes I have went through would be about 15-20 keepers per box...just guessing.

As for the banks....I only get them from Chase Bank. The have so many branches locally, I order from 3 of them.

Those are sweet numbers!!! My two boxes yesterday only had 14 40% and 2 90%...One was a Franklin...Not great but I'll throw them on the pile!

I got 2 boxes today as well - 4 keepers. 3 keepers from last weeks 2 boxes.

Pretty dismal lately. 7 Keepers in 2 weeks Actually its been around 14 boxes since I got more than 6 keepers. ( ya, thats 7 Thousand Dollars)

Raptor - Does your boxes go in spurts? Meaning....get a bunch of good ones then after a while get a batch of not so good ones? The reason I ask is I haven't done a whole lot of boxes since I started but my first ones were not too good....recently they have been....just curious.

Absolutely yes for me. When I started ordering, the boxes were like Wow. 30+
keepers in each. Then it dwindled to 5-6 for a while. Then 8+ skunks in a row.
Then Whammo, huge scores for a week or two, followed by skunks mixed in with
good ones. Now Im on a Almost-skunk, skunk stint. Last dozen or so have been
really bad, with probably half complete skunks.

I have no idea who/what/where/how this stuff works, just that if you keep pluggin,
it seems you do ok eventually.

My goals this week - without a doubt, are 1. Open new account at new unrelated bank for dumping grounds. 2. Order more boxes Gonna step it to 2k per week and see if
that helps soothe the craving Cant hurt haha.

I Googled the 1982-P No FG initials since I had no clue to look for these. I am glad you added this one to your keeper list. No I can look for those as well.
