my coin couinting machine is out of order.....

with a big sign on it, and parts ordered from europe, who knows how long it will take to fix the@@@@@@thing.....so tonight i have to drive 17 miles in the evening rush hour traffic to get to the closest coin counting machine....so what is a guy to do......

when i got to this bank 17 miles from home, the time was 530 pm and the head teller said the coin counting machine was closed 1/2 hr before we closed at 6pm....no amount of i drove from north park in heavy traffic mattered to them......well there is always tomorrow.....

That's odd. I didn't know coin counters had a certain closing time. Sounds like someone was just a bit lazy....

banks sometimes close the coin counter early becasue they do not have the staff to empty a bag if it fills. If yiou fill one, the machine stops and you have to empty it before you can continue. So they are forced to empty it right then. If there are only two or three people there, they can't do it, because it requires two people to empty a bag. So unless they have a full staff compliment, they sometimes can't do it.

It sounds like it was an understaffed bank, or tht they send someone home at 5:30 and that puts them below what they feel they need in order ot run the coin counter.
