My XP Deus is on the fritz again. It was really pretty out yesterday with the forecast of rain the next 8 days. So I HAD to get out and swing. My only option was to knock the dust off my trusty old Minelab X-Terra 30. No programs to change, no ground balancing, no bells and whistles. I set it to wide open and off I went. I was able to find a 1942 mercury dime, a 1945 P war nickel (YES TOM, I'm counting it) a no date buffalo nickel, 12 wheat pennies dating from the 30s to the 50s, and what's left of a very small toy car. I was hunting a lot that used to have a house on it. The owner said he believed the house was built in the late 20s and torn down about 4 years ago. Tough hunting with the tall grass and having to be on the lookout for snakes (hate em) yellow jacket nests (despise them) and ticks (loathe them) but there were a few areas that could be hunted. All in all not a bad day especially with a back-up machine. Hope everyone had a great weekend.
Anyone have any ideas about the little car? It is just under 2" long and approximately 3/4" wide.
