I went down to see the environmental disaster at the TVA Kingston Steam Plant this morning just to see if I could get a glimpse of the ash spill floating on the water. I could not get through to get the good pics. They had dozens of people working to clean up the water. I stopped at the Kingston City Park to hunt the playground area too. I didn't see much ash on the water but I did get a few interesting pics. I only had my cell phone to take pics with or I would have taken more and better pics. Oh, that ring was golden and had a great big FAKE emerald set in it. It's a gumball machine ring and I found it in the sand at the volleyball court. Thanks for looking.

They are up all year. With the three nuclear plants in the area it caused a lot of damage since the early 1940's. Thanks for the question.

Don't eat fish with more than 2 eyes.

I'd swap yah a keychain for the ring, but I'm fresh out (got a Chinese pocket knife, though).
A ring is a ring is a ring.

I will also swap you the 2 or 3 more inches of snow we're sposedta get overnight for some grass.

I know it's hard for all of the northern folks to believe it but we southern folks would love to see some snow on the ground (most of us anyhow).... We used to get snow every year and pretty good ones. For the last 15 or 20 years we sometimes get the freak snow but on the average we have been getting very little snow. You all have a good one.

:D Yeah, we get all excited over a flurry or two! Here's the perfect set-up...four inches of snow, starting on a Friday and lasting the weekend. Gone Monday morning! ;D Here's what we usually get....a 'dusting' right before dark in the middle of the week and gone by morning. :-\ Ya'll wouldn't believe all the midnight snowmen in Bama! :D :icon_jokercolor:

Hate that your river is so messed up, dangit. Great heart stopper on the ring! :icon_pirat:

That would be fine with me but my little sweet heart would probably disown me, lol.... This is the time of the year I want to hunt the most. The ground is usually damp and easy to dig. Now my favorite place to hunt is all crapped up with that ash and they are keeping the water up to summer level. You all have a good one

Thanks Nana, That snow set-up is exactly what I always wish for, lol... Used to be different when we were kids didn't it? Insurance deductibles are are more than a days pay and the possibility of getting hurt is very real. I didn't think about that when I was a kid either, lol...
