My find(one of them!)for today...Mini Rifle!!! AWESOME!(NON-DUG)

Hello everybody!...here is my find,well one of them for today...It is a 2mm.PinFire austian made(c.1920-30)rifle that works! fires blanks or...This type of gun was first made by Austrian WatchMakers as Fobs,or watch chains.some people are still making these but the practice was used from 1900-to the 1970's.This rifle has a side mounted bayonet it is a replica of a ww1 austrian rifle,it is missing leather strap/sling.Still very cool in my eyes!hope ALL enjoy!thanks for looking&listening!!!

I assume this didn't come out the ground?

i have a small Xythos revolver, perhaps these people have the ammo for that rifle.

Thanks for the link...Ammo.is readily available on line for just about ANY of the 2mm.kind...If it was in the ground i'm sure the wood would have rotted some!it is stainless steel.THANK'S!!!

Thank You,I too have that passion for scale models,S.S.,Patent Models ESPECIALLY but out of my price range!(patent models),Thanks for input!!! A new book has been written about these style(minature guns)of gun.by Bob urso,i'm ordering one!

Hey TH, Austria is about 2 hours away, I guess that's real close, LOL! Operational miniatures are cool. I am curious what a person would pay for something like that as I am interested, probably a cannon though. I'm hoping to find one some day. HH, Mike

There is a few people still making them,the man that wrote the book on them bob urso(search him)makes them...i'll get you a link or search minature arms society or ill get back to you...i have seen cannons! urso said mine was worth $350.00-450.00
 

That is truely cool, now I find my self desiring some mini guns.
 

TokenHead, that is such a fantastic find.... I have never seen such a thing, the detail is fantastic..... would love to shoot one of these things. ??? wonder what distance they would shoot?

pgill Thanks!!! you can got to youtube an search 2mm.pin fire gun/smallest gun,etc.and see some of these minis fire!!! its worth looking at,HH&Have fun!
