my find today in the uk

while metal detecting in worcestershire,uk...found an old american half dollar 1897, not sure if its worth anything......just joined site, will figure it out, how to put pictures with my finds soon...please be patient.thanks

1897 Barber halves are Great finds.
If it is a "O" or "S" mint it is considered rare dates
and can be worth quite a bit. Need to see a photo
or scan to get some idea of the condition.
